The 16th Nordic Conference on Reindeer and Reindeer Husbandry Research

University of Tromsø, 16th - 18th November 2010


The organizers are the Nordic Council for Reindeer Husbandry Research (NOR) and Centre for Sami Studies (SESAM) who want to bring together people from reindeer husbandry, management/administration, research and information communities, and all people who are generally interested in reindeer husbandry. The conference is multi-disciplinary and covers many different fields and aspects of research.

The conference is mainly in Nordic languages with translations to Sami and Finnish. Non-Nordic participants will use English.

15th October - Deadline for registration of presentations.
15th October - Registration with hotel booking
1st November - Registration without hotel
1st November - Last day for submitting ABSTRACTS

2011
5th January - Submitting proceedings' article

GUIDELINES

Oral presentation

Oral presentations should be given in Nordic language (Finnish, Norwegian, North-Sami or Swedish); participants from other areas may use English.

Posters

Posters should be written in English. Please prepare posters in portrait format. The posters will be shown all time during the conference. Maximum size of a poster is 70 cm wide by 100 cm high.

Abstract

Abstracts should be written in two languages; English (compulsory), and also in either Finnish, a Scandinavian language, or North-Sami. About abstracts here

Proceedings

Participants presenting posters and/or lectures are welcome to submit manuscripts of complete article(s) in English More here
